How do you progress in Jiu Jitsu?

Jiu Jitsu has a belt and stripe system that goes from white to red. The discipline requires dedication and regular practice however the rewards are more than worth the effort. Once you have proven you can survive on the mat, you can attend competitions that take place around the world throughout the year and face new opponents. As you progress, you also have the option of specialising in specific styles.
